Celebrate Cédez's first birthday with a visit to Horizon 22, a free viewing platform at the top of 22 Bishopsgate, the tallest building in the City of London.
1. Picture A above shows the interior of the viewing platform at Horizon 22. In which direction are we facing (roughly)?
2. Picture B shows the view towards St Paul's Cathedral from Horizon 22. Towards the top right of the picture is the BT Tower, which was the tallest building in London until 1980. What was it called when it was opened, in 1964?
3. From Horizon 22, one can look down on the building that overtook the BT Tower as the tallest building in London when it was completed in 1980 (see picture C). When it opened, it was called the National Westminster Tower. What is it now called?
