    The Herbs is a television series for young children, first transmitted in 1968 in the BBC1 Watch with Mother timeslot. "The Herbs" themselves were a mix of human and animal characters (for example, Parsley the lion) inhabiting the magical walled garden of a country estate.

    1. What magic word did the narrator speak at the start of each episode, to make the garden gate open?
