The Wicker Man is a 1973 British folk horror film directed by Robin Hardy, inspired by David Pinner's 1967 novel Ritual. It stars Edward Woodward (as Sergeant Howie), Britt Ekland (as Willow) and Christopher Lee (as Lord Summerisle). 2023 is the 50th anniversary of the film's release.

    1. Why did artificial leaves and blossoms have to be glued to trees during the making of The Wicker Man?

    2. Britt Ekland refused to perform the nude dancing scene, because she did not rate her bottom very highly, claiming it resembled...what?

    3. Sergeant Howie is chosen as the sacrificial victim because he fits the islanders' gods' four requirements - he came of his own free will, has "the power of a king" (by representing the law), is a "fool", and...what?
