The Glasgow Subway is an underground light metro system in Glasgow, Scotland. Opened on 14 December 1896, it is the third-oldest underground rail transit system in Europe. Perhaps surprisingly, it is not the smallest metro system in the world - there are seven systems that are shorter.
1. Which of these metro systems is younger than the Glasgow Subway?
2. Which of these is NOT a nickname that has been used for the Glasgow Subway?
3. The Glasgow Subway has two 6½-mile lines, the Inner and Outer Circle, which simply run in opposite directions. How many trains are running on each line when a full service is in operation?
